The Biochemistry exam consists of a written test lasting 30 minutes, comprising 10 multiple-choice questions with a single correct answer. Questions cover the entire course syllabus and are randomly drawn from a database of unpublished items, similar but not identical to those included in the self-assessment tests.
All students must have a smartphone or a tablet or, with prior instructor authorization, an equivalent electronic device (laptop) capable of internet connection via wireless or mobile data. During the test, only the device used for the exam is permitted; all other electronic devices are prohibited. Internet browsing outside the course website and the use of programs other than the browser required to access the exam platform are not allowed. Results become visible immediately upon completion and may be discussed with the instructor in class upon request.
Each correct answer earns 3 points. The system manages and corrects responses entirely automatically. Disputes regarding answer submission will not be entertained; students must report potentially defective questions during the test itself.
The written test is passed with a score of 18.0 or higher. The score obtained constitutes the final exam grade.
