Obiettivi del corso - Scope of the course:
Lo scopo del corso sono la comprensione e l'impiego di tecniche e strumenti che determinano la visibilità dei contenuti web, il quale è un tema trasversale e pervasivo nell'ambito dell'Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Esso risulta di interesse non solo per i professionisti delle discipline informatiche, ma anche per gli esperti di comunicazione e per gli studiosi umanisti in generale. La prima parte del corso fornisce le nozioni fondamentali relative alla progettazione e realizzazione di applicazioni web. La seconda parte del corso approfondisce nozioni fondamentali relative alla struttura del web, ai motori di ricerca e illustra le tecniche di Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
The purpose of the course is the understanding and use of techniques and tools that determine the visibility of Web content, which is a cross-cutting and pervasive topic in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). It is of interest not only to professionals in IT disciplines, but also to communication experts and humanist scholars in general. The first part of the course provides the basics related to the design and implementation of Web applications. The second part of the course delves into fundamental notions related to the structure of the web, search engines, and illustrates Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques.
Contenuti del corso - Contents of the course:
Durante il corso saranno introdotti i concetti base relativi alla progettazione e realizzazione di un’applicazione web, e approfonditi i linguaggi e gli strumenti per lo sviluppo web. Inoltre, saranno illustrate le nozioni fondamentali relative alla struttura del web, ai motori di ricerca e alle tecniche di Search Engine Optimization (SEO), con particolare attenzione alle tre attività principali: SEO sul linguaggio (on-page), SEO sull'architettura informativa (on-page), SEO sulla reputazione (off-page).
During the course, basic concepts related to the design and implementation of a web application will be introduced, and web development languages and tools will be explored in depth. In addition, fundamentals related to web structure, search engines, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques will be explained, focusing on the three main activities: SEO on language (on-page), SEO on information architecture (on-page), and SEO on reputation (off-page).
