Dear all,

as scheduled in the LAB PRACTICAL section of the E-learning, on 22nd January, there's the next lab practical.

REMIND TO BE REGISTERED TO THE LAB PRACTICAL IN TIME (by 20/01/2026; 14:00) BY USING THE DEDICATED GOOGLE FORM (SEE THE ELEARNING: https://elearning.unite.it/course/section.php?id=68353#filter-tabs-content-1-6)

On 20/01/2026, the Google Form will be closed.

No people will be admitted if the reservation is late with respect to the scheduled timing.

THE LAB PRACTICAL BOOKING DOES NOT COUNT AS A PRESENCE.

Last week I had 110 reservation and only 55 people among the booked came. I have noted all the people that come last time.

This CAN NO longer happen. It represents both: i) economic damage from the point of view of the material used in the lab practicals, ii) organizational problems in terms of rounds, introduction class, and lab-practicals kind of organization.

Indeed, last time, the practical was organized for a larger number of people, losing material (it means money) and wasting time (two rounds/day were enough to perform the practical).

 Anyway, I have already informed the head of the Biotechnology course of this.

THEREFORE, RESERVE THE LAB PRACTICAL ONLY IF YOU ARE SURE YOU WILL COME.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

YOU HAVE TO BE INFORMED BEFORE TO ENTER IN THE LAB CONCERNING THE LAB PRACTICALS AIM AND HAZARD/RISK.

It means that IF YOU WANT TO CARRY OUR THE LAB PRACTICALS, YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE ‘LAB INTRODUCTION’ FRONTAL CLASS AND READ THE SAFETY DATASHEET OF THE REAGENTS (uploaded on the elearning platform) THAT WE ARE GOING TO USE.

YOU ARE UNDER MY RESPONSIBILITY, ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO DID NOT FOLLOW THE HEALTH/SAFETY COURSE, SO YOU ALL SHOULD BE MORE CAREFUL ON THIS TOPIC.

For people who will come to the next practical:

• It is recommended to bring the lab coat that was delivered.
• In the laboratory, it is MANDATORY to wear proper clothes: no skirts, open shoes, low-cut, sleeveless tops or shorts will be permitted.
