    Obiettivi del corso - Scope of the course: 

    Lo scopo di questo corso è comprendere cos'è l'informatica, la Scienza della Comunicazione e le relazioni tra le due discipline.

    • Conoscenza e comprensione : linguaggio dell'Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
    • Applicazione di conoscenza e comprensione : la capacità di manipolare gli strumenti ICT di oggi e quelli che devono ancora venire.
    • Esprimere giudizi : nella scelta del giusto strumento ICT per risolvere un particolare problema di comunicazione.
    • Abilità comunicative : comprensione e comunicazione con esperti di informatica.

    The purpose of this course is to understand what computer science, and communication science are, and the relationship between the two disciplines.

    • Knowledge and understanding: the language of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
    • Applying knowledge and understanding: the ability to manipulate the today's ICT tools and the ones yet to come.
    • Making judgments: in choosing the right ICT tool to solve a particular communication problem.
    • Communication skills: in understanding and communicating with computer science experts.
    • Learning skills: for general computer science topics and new ICT technologies.

    Contenuti del corso - Contents of the course:

    Durante il corso saranno spiegati i linguaggi di programmazione, cosa si intende per programmazione Web, programmazione lato client e lato server. In particolare, questo corso fornisce le nozioni di base per la programmazione lato server utilizzando i linguaggi di programmazione PHP e MySQL. Inoltre, dal punto di vista pratico, si vuole capire cosa e quali sono i Content Management System (CMS) al fine di imparare ad usarli almeno a livello base. A tal fine, durante il corso sarò considerato un CMS open source e sarà spiegato come installarlo, configurarlo e personalizzarlo.

    During the course, programming languages, and what is meant by Web programming, client-side programming, and server-side programming will be explained. In particular, this course provides the basics of server-side programming using the PHP and MySQL programming languages. Also, from a practical point of view, it aims to understand what and what are Content Management Systems (CMS) to learn how to use them, at least at a basic level. To this end, an open source CMS will be considered during the course and it will be explained how to install, configure, and customize it.
